Ok...correct that sentence of only 1 death, at 6am, just when we were getting ready to end our shift and passover to the morning shift, a patient collapsed! it was so sudden! 1 moment she was snoring loudly, blood pressure was recordable, the next moment she just went into a silent cardiac arrest!! And the worst part of it, she was a really cute old lady, always walking around with her jacket in one hand and her walking stick in the other, past 2 nights, she kept saying she wanted to go home. we had no choice but to restrain her as we were afraid she may fall or just wander off. Sigh, this was really unexpected, CPR was commenced for a good whole 30 mins but to no avail.
